Billing Messages - July 2008

Each month, the Bursar bill includes messages on upcoming deadlines or information on Bursar services, and how they affect you.  Below are the billing messages for this month.

 Fall 2008 Tuition Bills
Fall 2008 tuition bills will be available online beginning July 19, 2008. An e-mail notification will be sent to your Cornell e-mail address notifying you that the bill is available to view.  The bill is due by August 8, 2008, and must be paid in full in order to register for the fall 2008 semester.  View registration requirements at http://registrar.sas.cornell.edu/Student/registration.html.

  Please read the following urgent announcement from the Office of Financial Aid and Student Employment and the Office of the Bursar:
For the 2008-09 academic year, many enrolled students may not see estimated aid on their fall bursar statement at this time.  The Financial Aid office is working diligently to complete all reviews and will post aid as soon as possible.  Once your financial aid is posted, it will be made available for viewing on the Student Service Center. Inquiries abut the status of your financial aid can be e-mailed to finaid@cornell.edu.

 There is still time to enroll in the 2008-2009 Cornell Installment Plan (CIP)/Tuition Pay!   The deadline to enroll in the installment plan is August 31, 2008. Pay your 2008-2009 tuition expenses in 10, 12 or 5 easy monthly installments, interest free! For additional information and/or to enroll, please visit www.bursar.cornell.edu/CIPlogin.cfm.

 Student Health Insurance Plan information
Online/paperless waiver instructions for undergraduates and appeal information has been mailed.  All undergraduate waivers must be submited online at www.studentinsurance.cornell.edu. Every year, all undergraduates MUST enroll in or waive the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP). The deadline to waive is 8/31/08.  Questions?  The Elective Tuition Refund Plan statements are being mailed to all qualified fall enrollees and will arrive under separate cover in 10-15 business days.  If you have any questions about the plan, please contact us at uco-bursar@cornell.edu or 607-255-2336.
