Loan Repayment

Student Loan Payment Methods

You may make your student loan payment by mail, in person, or electronically via the ECSI Web site .

 Note: Checks or money orders must be in United States dollars, drawn on a bank within the United States, and made payable to Cornell University. Postdated checks are not accepted.


 To Pay by Mail

  • Send the payment stub and a check or money order in the envelope provided. Payments made by mail using the provided return envelope are processed by ECSI.

 NOTE: Please do not write correspondence on the payment stub, or enclose correspondence with your remittance to ECSI. All correspondence should be directed to the Office of the Bursar at 260 Day Hall.



 To Pay in Person
 

  • Bring your entire bill and your payment to the Office of The Bursar, 260 Day Hall, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. 



 To Pay by Wire



 Returned Checks
 

  • Personal checks returned for nonpayment are subject to a $25.00 returned check fee.

  • Checks returned for nonpayment will be redeposited (one time only). If the funds remain uncollected, the returned check must be replaced by a certified check or money order.
